My dad says he's so busy in his retirement, makes him wonder how he
ever found time to work. When we had the bigger freezer, I'd keep longer
term stuff in it and use the fridge freezer for day to day needs.  That
way, with our once a month shopping, the big freezer could take the
extra bags of frozen veggies, extra frozen juice, meat (after I
portioned it out) and so on.  We're shopping more often now that we
don't have a freezer and not neccessarily saving money as more "off the
list" items seem to jump into the buggy, especially if Steve is shopping
by himself.

Amen to that one!  When we buy chicken breasts, I'll pop each one into a
sandwich bag, squeeze out the air, seal & pop into a larger (gallon
size) bag.  Basically that's how I do all my meats. I make sure I label
the outer bag, then the smaller ones if I've several different things in
it like small "scrap" for curry, larger pieces for roasts, etc.

You may have met him in Waikiki or one of your surfing competitions.  In
November, 04, the waves were 50+/- on the North Shore one day so they
ran the "Eddie", I think Bruce Irons won that one (or was it his
brother, Andy?); that was the only time they ran it while we were in HI.
We went up late that afternoon after the tourney was over--the waves had
gone down to 30' or so and the road was still crowded.

I guess the biggest one we heard of, off the coast at Maui, was around
60'; that is a monster wave.

You will be having so much fun you won't even be thinking of the ball
park.  The food will be different but every bit as good as garlic fries.

I definately don't.  Oh well, one more thing to get put into my records.
The military has gone to all computerised records but I've got a huge
(!) stack of the paper ones.  I guess I'd best ask if I can have print
outs of the computerised ones so I can keep a hard copy .
