I did say that, didn't I? Should have said "microwaved for a shorter time." As
you say, I can pour off excess water.

Naturally. Sinewy meat took away all the pleasure of a tasty roast when I was

I've discovered that Hamburger Helper has singles, too, in several flavors and
containing minuscule bits of ground beef. Cheesy Lasagna and Stroganoff
flavors, to name two.

What's interesting at my work is that the general manager retired the week
before last. Clued by a very strong volatile odor from the lunch room which I
presently recognized as overripe fruit, I discovered the following Monday that
there was a lot left over of the fruit bowls, so I helped myself daily during
last week. It looked as if it was being replenished; I certainly wasn't making
a real dent in it, as it remained at about a gallon in quantity. I finally
mentioned it to the GM's secretary, so she could let everybody know there was
fruit there. She said she didn't know anything about it or who put it there. I
reminded her yesterday that it was still there. My boss told me to stop
telling her about the fruit because she still didn't know anything about it,
and, anyway, everybody was busy with inventory. Geez, what a bunch of fruits!
And the fruit bowl is still being replenished. <shrug> And I'm still helping
myself. <shrug>

Sounds good, though I'd give the mustard a miss.

She probably sees quite a lot of that.

What is this, anyway? The chemical effect on your senses of taste and smell,
or what? I've been assuming that they don't put vanilla, chocolate, coconut,
and almond in this stuff.

That does happen at times.
