These guys were all at the spa for treatments, and one of them,
a Texan, looked particularly husky and strong, and people wondered
how a big guy needed spa treatment. Everything went okay for a
few days, but then one evening they were gathered for their dinner
of 3.5 ounces of meat, 7 ounces of vegetable, and the Texan didn't
show up: but there was a new guy, little and skinny and runty. So
one of the patients asked another, where's the Texas guy? The
other pointed at the puny fellow and said, there he is, he had his
enema today.

My vote. Since you're going to stench up the house anyway sooner or
later, it'd best be for a good cause. None of the others sound
objectionable (even with orange muscat champagne vinaigrette), and
if you decided on doing them, I might even help (if circumstances
allow), though I doubt I'd eat much of a big ol' salad.

1 Kg flour
250 g sugar
250 g pine nuts
350 g vin Santo (M told me you could use sweet sherry)
350 g EVOO
250 g raisins
1 packet "di lievito Bartolini"*

* This is baking powder, probably about 2 or 3 tsps,
  which has some added vanilla flavoring.  I have some
  vanilla powder, but you could probably add a tsp or
  two of regular vanilla in place of some of the wine

Mix all the ingredients and drop by spoonfuls onto a
baking sheet.  Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for
an hour.

One thing Christiano told us that isn't in the written
recipe is to leave them in the oven (with the door ajar)
to cool and harden.
