Hello Bo!

Ok, that sounds right :) Yes, I'd wished more people had more time to work on
that code that Scott released for 3.03, but Bo, you did an incredible job with
what you worked on if IIRC :)

It was then, I assume it still is. Carol would know if it still allows ANSI in
the msg. areas :)

Back then, as long as you ran a safe ansi driver like FANSI.SYS (I THINK that
was the name :) <grin>), yes, telegard was neat in that it allowed ansi chars
in the message lines you entered. The problem of course was that back then, if
you DIDN'T use FANSI.SYS instead of the standard ANSI.SYS, you were opening
your entire system up to some bad egg who might want to format your HD, etc.

Well, that would be the problem. I remember hearing that some people either
might have released their own version of Maximus and used the same name, or
else Scott was just afraid it might happen..

Yeah, why run unnecessary programs when you don't need to :)

Btw, do you mean EOL marker?

heh, that's really great :)

Having Fish on Christmas Eve is very traditional in Italian families here :) As
a matter of fact, some families even make it a point to eat "7 types" of fish..
which goes back to the RC Church, I believe.

> But I like to stick with traditions. :)

So do we :) I miss my Dad an awful lot.. doing things like this reminds me of
when he was still around yelling at me in Italian haha

> Damn cool. :)

Yeah, I want to figure out the format of the stiching "protocols".. not easy..
There are scads of embroidery design "protocol" types because there are so many
different embroidery machines, each one of them proprietary (except for the
Singer Embroidery machine I'm getting and earlier Singers in the same series).
So in other words, unless you have this same machine I have, or one of it's
earlier versions, (it's the CE-250), you can only use the embroidery designs
made for your embroidery machine. Many tools could be written if I could
figure out those protocols <bg> Not that I'd need it, but it's an interesting
thought <grin>.

Sometimes we used to eat this one :)

=========Zuppa de Pesce (Fish soup)===========
In my mother's house, this soup is served over linguine and treated as a
'sauce', not a soup. It is served with large chunks of Italian bread for
dipping, so not one drop goes to waste.

2/3 cup olive oil
1 large onion
5 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cans Italian crushed tomatoes
1 whole, live lobster (aw <g>)
1 pound shrimp, cleaned and de-veined 12 clams, scrubbed
10-12 crab claws
12 mussels, scrubbed and beards removed salt
pepper
basil
organo
1 cup or more white wine

Heat the olive oil, and saute the garlic and onions. Add the tomatoes and
seasonings. Simmer for 45 minutes.

Add the lobster and simmer for 30 minutes. You CAN kill it first, but we never
did <grin>
Add the clams in the shell and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the crab claws and
simmer for 20 minutes. Add the shrimp and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the
scallops and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the mussels and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add the wine and taste for seasoning. Allow to simmer for a few minutes more
and then serve. You can serve this with linugine and grated locatelli romano
cheese.

Take care,
Janis
