======================
Hi Barb,

 > Welcome back, stranger. Long time, no see.

 BM> Thanks. I've been preoccupied with family matters for quite a while.

I understand. Hopefully things have settled down to where you will be
back with us for a while.

 BM> A good thing to have so many stops on such a long drive; makes it much
 BM> more interesting ...

Yes, and I think we've got enough extra time factored in that we can
make some side visits if we want. Can't get too far off the plan but
there is some flex built in.

 > So far, everything has gone well execpt
 > for the problems

 BM> ... and helps keep your muscles and circulation in good order.

Yes, and we can maybe stop at a DQ in TX-something we've not don'e in a
while-or other things of that sort. I know the Sonic in Surrpise (AZ)
last year had "happy hour" when all of their slushies were 99 cents. We
enjoyed quite a few strawberry ones without going broke. (G)

 BM> I can understand the "challenge" part, but not for someone with your
 BM> history.

New doctor, practicing his practice. Good thing others disagreed, even
if they did so 3 weeks later. Got our seats on the flight out changed to
give me more leg room.

 >> not be seeing him

 BM> Yes, some are quite good, some less than good, and sometimes the SOP
 BM> leaves a lot to be desired, and you're the worse for it, through no
 BM> fault of the doctor.

This time and one other time it was the new doctor figuring he knew what
he was doing, despite my attempt to tell him otherwise. In February, my
pulminologist thought I'd have no problems with an asthma/allergy drug;
neither of us knew I'd react as severly as I did, as fast as I did (2
doses) adversly. Now it's in my records that I can't take that one.

 BM> At one time, I had a suitcase with camping cookware for such
 BM> occasions, and that was very handy.

As long as the handle for the pot doesn't give way. A friend of ours
had that happen with stuff he borrowed thru MWR; his pasta sauce ended
up all over the stove and ground. We just mixed his spaghetti with our
chili and had enough to feed all of us.

Catch you later,
