It's not only that, it's knowing how to cook the eggs correctly.  McD's uses a
special egg form for making their scrambled eggs.  If the form isn't in good
shape, you'll get Silly Putty.  If the person that's cooking them doesn't have
experience in cooking with the form, they'll be nasty.

Then you get people like me that used to make scrambled eggs the "Army way"
(forget the form, dump the eggs on the flat grill n' stir 'em up).  Those were
always the best.

They're good if you get them at the right temp.  They come frozen and

Their hash browns are nasty.  Never liked them.

If you got a soggy one, you didn't get a fresh made sandwich.  If it's fresh,
it's much better.  But honestly, ditch that and get the biscuits.  They are
handmade every morning and much tastier.

BK's sausage is FRIED.  Yes, you heard me, it's fried in the oil used for
cooking other breaded stuff (a la the chicken, fish, et al).  It's frozen and
reheated for about 1:35 in the oil.  I don't like their sausage.

If they are served in ancient oil, someone's not doing their job unfortunately.
