 Remember, I live in a University environment among
 graduate and undergrad students. The barriers are
 challenged constantly.

 You may have a point. I am getting mildewy! And
 true story, I never watered my tomato plants since
 early August! I kept checking, but the soil was
 never dry enough to want watering because of the
 constant rains. Usually my winters are rather
 dry, because I am not in a Lake Effect zone (as I
 suspect you are, from Lake Ontario). But if this
 systemic wet continues, I might see a lot of snow.
 Good for you for the golf craze! It gets you out
 for exercise a lot, anyway. My exercise program
 has crashed recently because of the constant rain
 and the early darkness.

 The point is the doing, not any score. I prefer
 biking, where no one keeps score, but I win just
 for doing it when I can. Well, maybe if we do have
 regular snow, I will try X-country skiing again.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Rutabaga Supreme
 Categories: Vegetables, Cheese
      Yield: 6 Servings

      6 c  Diced rutabagas (about 2 1/2
           -pounds)
      2 c  Diced potatoes
      2 c  Chicken stock
           Salt, pepper to taste
      1 pn Sugar
      1 c  Sharp cheese, grated
      2 T  Minced onion

       Combine rutabaga and potatoes, stock and seasonings. Bring to the
  boiling point; boil for 3 minutes, uncovered. Then cover pan and
  simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Mash, add
  cheese and onion.
       Beat until fluffy and serve very hot.
