Or at least not the training.  A friend's 9 year-old played some of the
percussion instruments in church on Sunday.  He actually did a fairly good
job, especially when you consider that he was barely tall enough to reach
some of the stuff.

And this is a bad thing because?  I can't imagine going from mixing a jam
band to an orchestra, but you gotta do whatever keep the tax man away from

Yech.  I've been gimping around for the past few days myself, but it's just
the MS rearing it's annoying head.

The board of directors (apparently) wants to go to a fixed price format for
the most part, yes I am and no there isn't.  Yet.  If Google gets smart and
sets up an auction site it may kill Ebay.

Braised short ribs...yum.  I've got meat loaf in the oven at the moment,
made of real beef.  My mother's version - it'll be OK after I dump some
sriracha on top.  Homemade veggie burgers that don't pretend to be anything
else can be really good if done right.  I'll eat almost anything once.  I
even at a tofu "hot dog" twice; I ate the first one to find out what they
were like, and the second later and elsewhere because I couldn't believe
they were all that bad.  Guess again.
