Ärende: Xmas take!

Ohh, we ALL made out like bandits! For all that this was a slimmer Xmas, we
selected well.

Charlotte got a load of Megaman DVD's and 4 'gently used' new to her games
from Amazon.  She also got sundry clothes (3 pairs of pants, a nice fuzzy
bathrobe, 2 sweaters and a scarf set with hat and gloves). Also several
smaller things.  Oh, nice fleece lined boots.

Cash got 2 squeeky squirrels, a squeeky duck, and a squeeky rabbit.

Daisy got a floppy soft rat looking toy filled with catnip, and a mouse that r
uns about all on it's own and facinates her as it crashes about the kitchen,
works well on the rug too.  Just smart enough to back up and run the othr way
when it bumps into something.

Don got 2 DVD sets: 'Planet earth' and one on the fish of the deeps.  A big 
puzzle we are about to clear the coffee table for, some of those small wood
puzzles you take apart and try to put back together.  A group gift for all of
us, but much for Don is the 150$ worth of candlemaking stuff (dyes, scents,
wick, 4 molds, and 10 lbs wax plus a proper melting pot).  One of those 'seal
a bag' vacumn things he's been wanting for a long time.  A vertical or
horizonal fishing rod rack for the wall that holds 10 decent sized reels and
rods.

Me?  grin!  3 pairs of shoes (I'd picked them out myself).  2 nightgowns, a
pair of black fuzzy thinline sweatpants (hard to describe but with a big
sweater, actually suitable for work once out of uniform!), 2 'body stockings'
(kinda like a leotard with legs and feet) with one in black and one in tan. 2
sets of bath salts (my favs from Japan, Don went to the Japanese store and
got'em), A t-shirt with a happy go lucky pirrana fish, and best of all:  A
TomTom one 3rd edition GPS!

Yesterday I also got a 1950 era real live magnavox floor model radio with
stereo (phonograph, stackable!) for the sunroom.  Freecycle of someone else's
'junk' which is my sort of treasure.

Enroute still, just didnt get in time for Xmas:  soap making kit with scents
and dyes and 2 molds (need to get a better meltable soap later but for now
have a simple gycerine one with it).  Dorf goes Fishing video.

Alot of the gifts were for 'all' as you can see.  Later today, we will
probably start teaching Charlotte how to make scented candles.  She wont
recall us doing that as we stopped when we went to Japan (cho rules, base
housing rules etc).

Oh my!  And a gift exchange on a newsgroup garnered a rather nice cheese
pack, a block of chocolate, 2 cookies (Charlotte got them before could say
more than 'get more of these mom') and a real live fresh belgium endive.

Mom sent the placemats she hand made starting when I was 6 months old and
finished when I was about 2.

Uncle Wayne sent a lovely Xmas ornament (tiffanys sort of thing) which he
does annually, always something new and lovely for the tree.  (For him we
found something he will dearly love, a coffee cup of his own he'd left with
his sister, my MIL who died a bit ago from when he was in the Korean war).
SIL was about to toss it when Don snagged it and it resurfaced as we unpacked
yet another box here.

Well, time before long to figure out how to make the Xmas Ham!  I'll have to
peruse my MM as I forgot to ask in time what to do with a 7.5 lb 'pre-cooked'
spiral cut one.
