Hi Carol,

CS> I figure it will work out for both of us.

It's beginning to look positive. We were up again earlier this week and
ruled out a few places. We looked at one unit that looks VERY promising
& filled out the paperwork for it today. Downside to all is that our
big living room set (2 years old) will have to find a new home. It
won't pay to put it into storage for 3 years (on our nickel); we'll buy
another set when we get settled after school.

Monday morning change--we will keep the living room set and find a new
home for other, older pieces of furniture.

 CS> Ok, hoping for ya!

We're still waiting. The off campus place we looked at yesterday looks
the most promising. It has a good sized kitchen--not quite eat in size
but could if we got a really small table. Lots of counter top space and
the shelves underneath are full, not half. A fair sized pantry too.

CS> One thing I did in the military was 'buy small' meaning collapsable
CS> stuff. My dining table for example is a 7-8 inch wide 3 foot long
CS> 'credenza' when the leaves are down. Seats 6 when up ;-)

We bought a new table/chairs when we returned from Germany. It seats 6
but we can take out one or both leaves and have a small table for 2.
The buffet is an antique; it was given to us while we were in Germany.
The bottom part is nice for storing stuff, top is good for (limited
display. It and my rocking chair are my "Over my dead body will you get
rid of it" pieces of furniture.

 > If you've got some ground turkey and sausage, that will work too.

CS> Might! Have to filter through the freezer.

Ours is empty of all but grains and water jugs. I suspect those will
come out this week. Pack out starts in 3 weeks.

CS> Fo now, got some chicken parts defrosting to be added to a cassarole
CS> dish with some of the tomato sauce base. Don's defrosting some pork
CS> loin for tomorrow. I've got a pork bone and split pea pot started as
CS> well. Nothing much in that crockpot yet but pork bone and water and
CS> split peas. I'll add as i think about it.

Sounds good so far.

Catch you later,
Ruth
