I have to check my catnip.. didn't see it last time I looked.. hmm... hope it

And it was too cold here, even though it WAS 50 here, to work outside today..
too much cloud cover darn it.. Ron did work on his mower though.. so that was
something.. he got a new one this year..so that's good. You may have noticed
last year we ran into problems :( :( what a pia :( :( and of course what
timing.. always just the time :(

I put the cages in as soon as I put the plants or seedlings in.. easier that
way.  Afterwards, the plants are too awkward.  I usually wait until it's really
warm to put the tomatoes outside though but thats NYS... like until it's for
sure gonna _stay_ 70. That way I don't have to worry about about any wayword
chill jumping in. Not sure about your area.. most of the books I have have are
outdated for what Zone you are in gardening wise.. And not only that, but I
really think that things are changing from year to year in the last few years..
we are seeing patterns that are darn weird.  All you can go on is the "moment"
really.  It seems that way here at least.

How does that translate to the yen? would you be living high on the hog there
at that rate or just about average since you wouldn't be in the service?

Know where that's at Lol.. crappy floors.. ugly ceilings.. all kind of stuff..
cosmetics you can take care of as you go.. we're still working on the main
kitchen..  we've got all the "stuff" just no time to do it. argh.. be nice if
we had a major vacation to do it all Lol.. We bought wainscotting for half-way
down the wall by the table side of the kitchen..and a great chandelier for over
the table...  wallpaper for halfway-up.. The wallpaper is very light blue
clouds.. really light blue.. almost white... then a border of  french cafe's
with little restaurant's and tables outside with blue accents (blue willow
might be accented there (grin)) Take care,
