You are fine then. Adding another gadget if you have no need for it, just
clutters the garage/basement and never gets pulled out. I'll just bring my
toy and let you play with it <g>. The group will be big enough that the
warmer function will make sense.

Oh dear! I phrased that wrong. I dont want to make it, I want you to make
it and me to be a total 'eat'. {whimper- feed me!}

Even us cooks turn total 'eat' at times!

It;s like if GA Ruth can make it this time, she HAS to make me her brown rice
or I will bug her the whole time, whimpering gently. I do not do brown at
home and she needs to make some for me.

Basmati works on stove as well as rice maker. Brown rice, not so well in a
rice maker so I seldom try but GA Ruth has the trick of it.

 > usually make brown rice, or japanese short-grain (that is addictive rice :))

It is isnt it? But calrose works. It;s a medium grain.

Oh I wanna play! I lack counter space and need for that top end gear but it su

DEpends! My Mom may be visiting same time. Yes, Mom is alive and well.
She;'s a spring chicken since she wont hit 80 til 2010. Likes to plant
strange flower bulbs for the neighbors then snicker as they come up. Cool
lady.

Memory note for me, bring the fav of all time book of mine. Hari Kojima.
It's not big, but I love that book.

Got a spare freezer if i recall? Then yes! Perhaps Mloo might be a better
stock maker and we let him use 'momma crock' to do it? I think he's mostly
used to stove top style but i can get him in the right direction for
crockpot easy enough. If he cant come, we kibitz it.

Hehe that was use too but it turns out we either forgot we gifted them way
before we left, or the MIL did it for us to folks who needed them. I have
far more than a family of 3 needs, but not the ame level of excess.

Dale last time used mostly paperware and it made the cleanup easy. It fine
whichever way you go. I like to put paperware on cheap plates (not my best
stuff) so cleanup is easy, if hosting a big party.

Will do but that set is thin. They had 'issues' about packing spices so I
found homes for most of them before I left. Then low and behold, japan sices
(such as were left) got packed!

I use many japanese-like items though and can probably replicate many of
them.

I like sushi but never learned well to make my own.
