Well, yes, I can see where you'd have the luxury of
planning.  :)  And how planning can keep things from
getting out of control, theoretically.  ;)

I've done most of the cooking, but for much of the time,
we've done the shopping together.

Granted, I look for inspiration at the store... but I also
don't wander the aisles wondering what I'm going to make.
If it doesn't show up quickly, I just try to get what will
probably be enough for the week or so... and, at the moment,
granted also, some of that is going to be prepared, or semi
so...

 ->  -> fresh fruits and veggies that I discover later, too far
 ->  -> gone for redemption...  And it's not for not liking them,
 ->  -> it's just because they got forgotten in the melee... ;/

I used to use a slow cooker, but that was back in the day
when our life was slower, too, and I could think about 
what I was going to be fixing.  I don't think I've ever
had a modern crockpot, and never really did a lot even
with what I had.  Maybe someday... :)

Sounds so easy when you and the others talk about it...
but my reality doesn't click with it... ;0  For me it's
like the proverbial "only takes 10 minutes"s that all
add up to more time than I have, so something gets short
shrift...  :)

I'm glad for her.  The tami-flu stuff did well by my mom some
years ago, too...  :)  I've not to date had the chance to try
it... when I got the flu, my then doctor didn't think I needed
it, and wouldn't think of prescribing it unless I came in to
be seen, which I was WAY too sick to do...
