The more I read about the side effect horrors resulting from all the
weirdly named drugs you lot take, the more I am determined to stay
well clear of them, and stick to dietry methods of dealing with any
minor health disruptions which may occur.  Whenever I get heartburn I
take a few spoonfuls of natural, unadulterated yoghurt.  That works.

The only pill that I take is glucosamine for arthritis.  That is more
or less natural, and I have used it for long enough to establish that
it has no perceptible side effects.  If there is pain, I exercise
more, until it goes away.  For everything else, 100% natural red wine.

 Categories: Greek, Spreads, Toppings, Euro-se
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      2 c  Milk- yoghurt, thick
      1 c  Cucumbers
           ;finely chopped
      1    Garlic cloves
           ;crushed
      2 tb Oil- olive
      1 tb Herb- dill or mint, fresh
      1 tb Juice- lemon
 
  To thicken yogurt, place 3 1/2 cups yogurt mixed with 1 tsp salt in a
  dish towel.  Hang over bowl until dripping stops, about two hours.
  Sprinkle salt over cucumber; let stand 15 minutes and press dry.
  Combine all ingredients; chill. Makes: 3 cups
