Ingenious idea.  Is it one either of your folks had as a childhood
tradition?

True, and it would be good if she got diagnosed a lot earlier than I
did.  I finally got an official diagnosis when I was in my 30s but am
pretty sure I had it as a kid. Looking back, I recognised what are now
obvious signs that neither I nor my parents knew about in my childhood.
It wasn't as obvious as my brother's hay fever nor as recognised by GPs
in that time.

I never tried to figure out the propulsion.  The milk and cookies had to
be useful for something.  I've read of kids leaving hay or a carrot for
the reindeer too.

Yep! I didn't for her first Christmas (she was 2 1/2 months old for that
one) but would like to for every year until she gets old enough to
protest.  Steve said it reminded him of the part in "A Christmas Story"
where Ralphie has to show his mom & dad his latest present from the one
aunt who thinks he's a girl.  You know, the pink bunny pajamas? I'd
rather do a dress.

We've had it at church different times. One of the last choir rehersals
before we did the Christmas music went several hours so we had a pizza
break built in.  One young man in our church works for Dominoe's,
another for Papa John's.  We had Dominoe's that night.
