Hi Hap,

Considering the kind of work you do, it is understandable.  The size &
weight of the EeePC make it a nice one for me to use.  We don't really
have room for 2 desk top set ups in this house so Steve has priority on
the one we have.  He's got more papers to turn in, tests to take (on
line) and stuff to read or print out that wold be harder on smaller
systems.  I'll elbow my way in when I've got to edit a paper due tho.

That's a lot of images! (G)  We just got a DVD archive of 25 years of
one of my sewing magazines; I've been subscribing for the last 15 years
and saving my issues.  The DVD will clear out part of a shelf but more
importantly, reduce weight that would otherwise be moved to our next
place.

And when you do become famous, we will have original works of art. Not a
Food Network show but maybe HGTV--"Watching Paint Dry." (G)

-> We're not supposed to even reach 40 today, with major (up to 50 or so
-> mph gusts) wind.  The rain came yesterday, while we were down in Raleigh
-> getting a chest x-ray (all clear) for me & was blown off by bed time.

And we had about 2" of snow last night, cold enough today that most of
it is sticking around.  We're going out later; I mght pick up a chicken
or something I can put in the oven to roast for several hours.  Good way
to add some heat to the house & warm us up when we eat it.

The first time I went to Germany (75) everybody in the States said that
Coke was so expensive over there.  I paid (exchange rate was about DM
3.75/$1.00) about DM 2.00 or so for a Coke on the economy, not nearly as
bad as it could have been.  That was 11 years before we went over with
the Army so I couldn't have gone on post for one.
