That's good.  Do you have to pay for the heat?  Hmm.. do you have a heating
system?  Not sure houses where you are would need one (g).  I'm not used to
thinking in those terms :) :)

I do the same when it's wickedly hot here as well.. but sometimes I just can't
stand air-conditioned air.  I'd much rather rely on ceiling fans, and breezes
from open windows. If we have a real heat wave though, I literally can't even
think when it gets that hot.  Those are the times when Ron picks up on my
reactions to the heat and just turns on the air conditioning ... I get so
affected by it, I don't even know it's hitting me that way.  Then as the cold
air makes it way through the house, I say, wow, I guess I did need it on (G).

You probably will be surprised.  If you went into the exam with an A, chances
are you did fine.  :)

That's rough.  My mom never ever agreed to touch it.. it would have made her
work so much easier ... After working at the hospital for so many years, she
later became the 'school nurse' at a day care for migrant children.  She had so
much paperwork because the children came and went seasonally, and a number of
factors had to be tracked.  It would have been so much easier to take care of
things on a computer :(

They sent me another missive in the mail... just to let me know that they've
received the appeal, etc.  The letter says NYS law says they have to answer the
appeal withing 60 days.  If they don't NYS law says their 'determination' will
automatically be reversed.  How much do you want to bet that they will do
nothing for 60 days, just to not have to pay for the drug for two months?? :)

Sure sounds like it.  I'm going to call our company's rep to fill her in on the
case number and details mentioned in the letter. They CC'd my doctor's office,
but not our rep.  This kind of thing is just what she's getting paid for (g).

Yep :)  And then sometimes they'll drag in something from outdoors, and you
say, 'what the heck is THAT?'.. and where did they get it from? (laugh).

I just spoke with her yesterday, and she's not feeling very strong.  She wants
to wait to see if she is going to get stronger first.  I can understand that. I
remember how much that type treatment knocked out my son.. and he was young,
comparitively.

Older folks really like the warm, I can understand that.

That sounds like what she had, as well, from her description to me.

Not sure, but that's ok.  I don't think I'll have to worry about it (g). So far
I've avoided MRI's anyway.
