Sometimes the rest stops aren't convenient when you need them.  Also,
traveling off the interstates, you have to find stops where you can.
Fast food places are good for them as well, with a minimal purchase.

I don't like them either.  Right now, we're in unseasonably warm (hot,
upper 80s, low 90s) weather with afternoon thunderstorms.  Temps should
be about 10 degrees cooler and less humid.  The humidity always does me
in; I prefer it much drier.

Always a help. That's why my parents always put a garden in.  BTW, Dad
is doing a bit of container gardening after all--several tomato plants
and some lettuce.

Sounds good.  Steve is more the pea eater than I am.  We bought some a
few weeks ago--they were good but a lot of work for a little yield.
Steve was concentrating on finishing school work so I didn't have any
help shelling them.

I was still at home then & we didn't go to the movies that much so I
missed it. One I should look for?  I got "Follow That Bird" from the
$5.00 bin at Wal-Mart last night. (G)

cannoli but he said the first time he had them was at an Italian place
in AZ.

IOW, very rich!  I like the cannoli better than tiramisu but that's
because I don't like coffee.
