That's true when you think of it much...

Or better yet.. who would have tasted the milk that was in the sheep gut tote
after sitting around in sun all day? :)

Ah yes.. I was going to post mine :)  sorry to have forgotten all about that
with that miserable flu we had over here..

===Macaroni and Cheese===
3 slices bacon
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons onion minced
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded or chopped 1 Tablespoons Worchestershire
sauce 2 fresh tomtatos, chopped into small pieces 1 pound elbow macaroni

Saute the bacon and set aside on paper toweling to drain. Crumble the bacon
pieces and set aside.  Remove the bacon oil from the pan (just wipe it out or
pour it into your normal bacon fat reserve).

Add the butter to the pan, then add the onion and saute until translucent.  Add
the flour and stir to combine. Use a whisk to add the milk to the flour/butter
mixture while the heat is on low, and continue mixing until smooth.  Add the
cheese and continue stirring over low heat until the cheese is mostly melted.
Stir in the bacon bits and tomatoe pieces. Cook for a minute more, then turn
the burner off. Meanwhile, cook the elbow macaroni and drain. Place drained
Macaroni in a large buttered baking bowl or dish. Bake in a preheated 350F oven
for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling.

Another recipe I have used just takes the elbow macaroni and layers it with
cheese and flour rather randomly in the proportions pretty much as above, then
pours the milk right on top of all of that, and pours melted butter on top of
that :) It's a different type of baked macaroni, but interesting nonetheless :)
