Hi Ruth,

Yep, I almost contacted a friend of mine in Louisville to ask him if he'd find
me a lab and ship it to me. But after having one dog have to use an airplane,
and reading what it must be like, I couldn't do it.

> I can't see spending that kind of

You get what you pay for all in all...I think these pups will be fine, as will
be the kitties once they realize we're here to stay :) Little slower maybe
coming to the conclusion but of course there are exceptions :)

Pete looked so skinny, you'd have though he was either diabetic or dead.. but
he was at least 20 lbs, probably more. I gave up weighing him when he topped
25lbs, because I'd read that they can get up to 35lb..SMALL DOG Lol... lanky
long packed kitty.

> He had the tufted

Wow... Pete's were "giganticus".. real snowshoes :) These other kitties almost
remind me of how in china they used to strap feet, in comparison :) Or maybe
like racehorses ... delicate (mostly) ankles and toes.

Tell me about it :) :) He concentrated on Indy, though Sophie, the little dog,
was right nearby. He picked his up Indy's tail with his paws. took a chomp,
then batted it a little (still no reaction). Indy didn't notice until I told
Leo, Cool it :) Lol

I dunno.. shepherds are one tough and really smart animal. Before I married
Ron, I had a huskie that someone had abandoned.. talk about chicken - and
stupid (g). He never learned to go outside.. grrrr.. Ate all my rugs.. that or
peed on them <g>

hahaha.. I had help the last two days.. My grandson has been here, he's 14.
He'll be 15 in September. All of the "oh man " jobs he'd say, hey let me do
that. <grin> Must be nice to be young and healthy (lol)

Yeah or not... just accept his feet are not according to the book (g). I have
only seen/owned ONE Maine Coon in my life and he had all the classic
characteristics, including the Holloween Scarey Cat stance you see on Halloween
cards with the Arched Back and teeth glowing :)

Yeah, that's what I think. I think about how many critters these kitties have
taken down since we got them <grin> Before it was survival.... now it's "I
don't want dry food" Lol

> -> Yes it is - I'd never seen a siamese do that before either, the only

Yeah, they are that though. Lizzy and Lola are talkative.. Leo and LuLu are
not... unless you touch them or antagonize them... errrrr play with them (not
like I do that (haha) ). Leo does a kind of chirp <g>

Yeah I do that on their scratching post too... but the best results over here
are with a pile (big) on the rug :) Shocking.. the dogs don't care until they
see the cats eating it Lol

Take care,
Janis
