Planning on it, had another not so popular exam today and came thru with
an excellent report. Dr. said with the family history, it shold be done
every 5 (ugh!!!!!) to 10 (ugh!!) years.  Talked to my dad after and he
saidhis dr. wants it every 3 years (ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

I saw a later message (our Fido was out yesterday) that she's  doing
better. Still, I imagine you were quite worried--and rightfully so.

I don't know why but she always put newspaper on the floor and it was
always wet when she was done.

But, it's cold and tastes good--that's what counts. BTW, the couple of
times we've made it this summer, we've put a sheet of plastic wrap right
on the ice cream after pouring it into the container we freeze it in. It
seems to keep the ice crystals from forming.  I know, we can freeze it
in the can but the other container is easier to scoop from.

Yes; can you imagine? My mom's dad passed away 50 years ago this year;
he would probably have had fun with some of this technology. He was an
investment banker on Wall Street so he could afford the latest and
greatest "toys".

We like the cucumber better than the cabbage most of the time. The
cabbage may be milder if I try making it; in the Korean places, it's
always much hotter than the cucumber. I do like being able to taste the
other parts of my meal too. (G)
