Yep, had the consult with the 
surgeon yesterday..took 
45 minutes...we went over
the first MRI over a year ago
the second MRI and the latest
one making comparisons and 
also referring to the xrays and 
Cat scans that were done and 
even at one point to the nuclear
bone scan....Here's the upshot;
the dead spot that was on the 
femur last year before the surgery
has "healed"...it's not there anymore.
Now there's a "bone bruise on the 
top of the tibia (medial) just below
where the dead spot was on the 
femur. No sign of torn meniscus
but they were careful to point 
out that anytime after a knee 
surgery it's tougher to "read"
the meniscus. Most of the 
increased blood flow that showed
up on the nuclear bone scan 
is in the area of the "bone bruise"
on the tibia...What does it all mean?
Nobody seems to know...I've got
all this pain, and inability to walk 
right and they can't seem to pin
down anything that can be causing
it. So What's the next step?????
I know...Letls get ANOTHER 
surgeon involved!!! Yep the 
famous "SECOND OPINION"!!
which is scheduled for later 
this month...I ain't holding
my breath waiting for a fix
on this one.
