We'd been hit pretty good during the spring/summer because of our crummy health
insurance.. Incredible to me just what is NOT covered.. which USED to be
covered.. and sadly, that makes you play right into where the health insurance
company wants you, where you'd rather skip some medical proceedure than rack up
more bills :(

Probably fidogazette :)  It was fantastic.  The food in Gettysburg was
outstanding as well.  I guess they have a line into some fresh crabmeat since
Ron said their crabcakes were like the ones he used to devour all the time when
he was at college at Hopkins in Baltimore. This restaurant was named Dobbin
House.. we found that interesting as well, since that name is one in Ron's
family on his Dad's side.   You can see some pictures my daughter took of

But of course I wasn't paying as much attention to the food as to the
dinnerware.. Every piece of dinnerware in sight was Buffalo China's Blue Willow
Restaurantware.. I recognized it immediately because I have some of it in my
antique/vintange dinnerware collection, but not that much :)  I most have Blue
Willow vintange ware from the SCIO company in Indiana.. As we were leaving, I
mentioned to the owner who met us at the door that I loved the food ... and the
dinnerware!  That got a gigantic smile from her :)

We did ok, and didn't lose power, Yay (g).. except for once again having our
village Water Station totally immersed under water, meaning we have to continue
to use bottled water until the Susquehanna subsides and they get the pumps
going again.. brushing your teeth with bottled water is a pia! Thankfully
though my dishwasher has a "high heat" setting for the water the dishwasher
uses, so at least I can get the dishes done easily. No water to speak of in our
basement, thank goodness... a mile of so down the road though, where the
previous flood wrecked havoc, this flood also was quite destructive from what I
hear.. As I mentioned to someone else in another echo, the house we were
_going_ to buy but didn't is in that flood zone.. That's sad, those poor people
have had their house badly flooded both times.
