Ok... probably just didn't mesh with the statement schedule, then...

I did some 'sperimenting tonight for supper... came up with what I
suggested should be called Greek-ish Glop... (G)  Richard thought it was
quite like moussaka, but with more meat, so Meat-lover's Moussaka... ;)

I had a medium-sized (about a pound) eggplant (fresh local produce) and
about a pound of ground lamb that needed using.  I split the eggplant in
half lengthwise and broiled it on both the skin side and then the cut
side.  Meanwhile, I started the lamb browning in its own juices in a
small frypan, and added some garlic powder, lemon pepper and minced
onions (you real cooks would probably have chopped up fresh garlic and
fresh onion, but those aren't usually here when I suddenly get the urge
to do something, they've already been tossed because they went moldy on
me... [g]).  I cut the eggplant into chunks and added it to the lamb. 
It tasted a bit bland, and looked rather drab, so I decided to add a can
of Hunts diced fire-roasted tomatoes, and then added about 4 oz of
crumbled feta cheese to the top of the mixture in the pan and let it
just simmer for a while.  It made about 3-4 servings, but the two of us
ate it all up without any leftovers..  ;)
