yep...that and smokers who toss their 
cigarettes out the car window...many of 
our forest fires start right next to 
a hiway... In the high country it's 
more often lightning strikes..the folks
that go camping that far "out" usually 
have a really good idea of what "not" to
do.

We're finally getting some grey clouds and 
a small amount of rain...good for the forest
fires! Or at least good for those who are
fighting them!

I'd like to convert the stove to gas
but it'd be expensive getting it piped 
from the other side of the house where the
gas valves are. Still I keep thinking about
getting it done.

Both juice and zest..I had
no lemongrass to add so 
wanted to make sure the flavor

to the grandbabies...how's the

->  HN> greater effect on her GI system. She's

->  HN> it's being controlled by the five different
->  HN> meds she has for nausea, it's still more

-> Good that she can control it but 5 different meds for it? I know after
-> one of my wrist surgeries, they had to get an anti nausea drug they said
-> was generally reserved for chemo patients. It's not a fun thing and
-> finding something that sits well on the stomach can be challenging.

Yep each can be used in concert with
the others, some she gets when
she has her chemo infusion, and
that lasts for three days, others
she has to take at various times and
still others can be taken whenever
she starts feeling queasy. She has
a BOX load of medications now!
->

->  HN> was with the first round. So I am certainly
->  HN> going to the cookbook "Eating Well Through
->  HN> Cancer" more, in hopes of finding recipes
->  HN> that will help her with her nausea issues.

-> Wish I could give you some ideas but what may work one day won't on the
-> next. Besides, I don't cook very bland any more. (G)

I just do what I can...last night
she had buttered (with smart balance)
noodles. Right now she's taking a nap,
tomorrow is week three and another
infusion...
