It wasn't always this bad, that's the sad thing.  Well, I guess Ron's boss
could have cut wages instead.. which when you get down to it, it all adds up to
the same thing.

Thanks for your note about Medicare, Dale.  I may go on Medicare health
insurance since I'm disabled - I didn't do that in the past because Ron's
insurance -was- so much better, and my primary Neuro in NYC didn't accept
Medicare.. a lot has changed here since then though .. I still have to check
out what it will mean for prescriptions, that kind of thing.

Heh.. would be nice if they'd go retro with all the bills I've accumulated, but
I know they won't.. :)  Well, lots to check out anyway.. and then I have to
hope it's not going to take a bazillion years to get on Medicare.

Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it's fun to find new ways to
use it in recipes. My favorite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg
salad. It adds a nice flavor and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.

Contraindications: Turmeric should not be used by people with gallstones or
bile obstruction. Though turmeric is often used by pregnant women, it is
important to consult with a doctor before doing so as turmeric can be a uterine
stimulant.
