Halfway between Columbia and Sumter. Small town

->  hn> Anne inherited her mother's Nativity Scene so
->  hn> that will now go up with our own and Anne's
->  hn> "Christmas Village" as well!

-> We've got a small Goebel (probably not spelled right) set I got in
-> Germany, with a olive wood stable we bought in Bethlehem. Didn't set it
-> up last year as we left soon after classes ended for NY to do christmas
-> for my folks.

I came home today and Anne had already set
up the Nativity set that she inherited.
I think she'll also set up "our" set as
well..when she finds it!

->  hn> She'll be officially a PhD on Wednesday when

They Ring a bell and say "congratulations
Dr Newsom!" they also gave her a UC Davis
Alumni pin...which I am guessing will put
her on the eternal bequest begging list. I
have two Bachelor's Anne has a Bachelor's and
a Master's..and we get pinged continually by 
the schools...well...to be honest I don't get
pinged anymore by the UW...not after they offered
NO (as in ZERO) finanical Aid to Amanda when
she was accepted into the UW Honors program.
And I'm sure there's a note attached to
my "file" in the alumni association file
cabinet, that I am not a friendly or 
easy touch anymore!!
