I am an inveterate reader. At home if I am not on the confuser I am buried in a
book. Haven't even had the glass teat fired up in about a month ... and that
just to watch a locally produced show featuring members of my Vintage Iron
Riders motorcycle club. If I am in a restaurant solo I am usually buried in a
book. If I have companions ... my behaviour is somewhat different. Although, I
have found myself thinking, at times, "My (current) book is so much more
interesting that this group".  Bv)=

I am currently entering my collected books into a freeware library database.
This is more to help me quit buying duplicates than anything else. I often
"space" book titles and will sometimes buy a book which sounds interesting only
to find that, six pages into it, I already own the sucker. I *DO* remember
plots and story lines.  Bv)=

It helps that the database works with a barcode scanner. It doesn't help that
many of my volumes pre-date barcodes.   Bv(=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Barcode's Indian Maharaja Omelette
 Categories: Eggs, Cheese, Chilies, Vegetables
      Yield: 2 servings

      2 lg Eggs; beaten
      2 ts Olive oil
      1 lg Onion
      1 lg Green bell pepper
     15 oz Can diced tomatoes
      3 sl (long) cheese of your choice
           Salsa; (opt)
           +=AND/OR=+ 
           Hot sauce; (opt)
           Salt & pepper

  How to make a scrumptious and mouth watering omelette for
  that perfect breakfast menu!

  Finely chop the onion and green pepper, and dump it into a
  large sealable bowl along with the tomato.

  Pre-heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. It's hot
  enough when a drop of water dances on the surface.

  Meanwhile, saute two tablespoons of the vegetable mixture in
  the olive oil until the onion clarifies; set aside.

  Spray the skillet with cooking oil spray, then pour the
  beaten egg into the skillet, covering the entire cooking
  surface.

  Add salt & pepper. Allow it to set.

  While the egg sets, cut three slices of cheese from the
  block, and lay it on the egg, right down the center of the
  pan.

  Place the veggie mixture on top. When the egg has set, the
  edges will curl up a bit. This will allow you to slip you
  spatula underneath without tearing the omelette.

  Fold one side over the cheese and veggies, then the other.

  Allow to sit in the pan for a few more seconds to allow the
  veggies to become heated through, and the cheese to melt.

  Serve. Cover with salsa/ and or hot sauce if desired.

  Makes 2 servings
