I did too, as a kid. I've done a lot of reading for fun as an adult but
not in the past 3 years tho. Textbooks have taken priority but I'll get
back to real reading in a relatively short time. I usually keep a cook
book handy for "fun" reading, especially if I'm eating alone or have
acquuired a new one. The latter usually go on my stack of books, etc
near my corner of the love seat; got one on tagines there now.

Any chance one or more of the books is still around? It would be fun to
look at now to see what was big then.

IIRC, AFN-TV came to Europe in 1972. We were there from October, 1986 to
July, 1992. Limited to one channel on AFN but could pick up German tv on
the multi system set, then British version of AFN when we were in
Berlin.

I understand. Sometimes on Saturday nights I wonder where the week has
gone to.
