but not much, and they will find it invigorating.

I don't object to the guy's slavedriving, but I do object to
his encouraging them to lie, cheat, and steal.

Somebody had to do the work!

Cheese Noodles, Lattermann Style
cat: Thai, German
servings: 2 to 3

1 Tb salt (small grains)
200 g Linguine or Fettuccine noodles
3 lg onions
3 cloves garlic
3 red-hot chilies
125 g cheese (Emmentaler, Gouda)
1 cube Maggi chicken broth
3 - 4 liters water
cooking oil
black/white pepper
ground Parmesan cheese

Peel the onions and clean them.

Now cut the onions into rings
(or half rings) and fry them in
cooking oil, while constantly
stirring, until they assume
brown color. Shortly before
the color turns black, separate
the oil from the onions and
keep it.

Cut the three garlic cloves
into small pieces. While
cutting the garlic cloves, don't
forget to stir the onion slices.
Once the onion slices have
turned into golden-yellowish
color, add the garlic pieces
while continuing to stir.
Smash the three chilies and
black peppercorns as desired
into a homogeneous chillypepper
powder.

Add the chilly-pepper mixture
to the fried garlic onions and
mix well. Cut one cube of
Maggi broth into small pieces
and add it to the onions. Stir
the onions for equal
distribution of all ingredients.

Cut the 125 g block of cheese
into small stripes or cubes
and keep it for the time being.
Now boil approx. 3 - 4 liters of
water in a pot, add 3 Tb salt and
1 Tb of cooking oil. Once
the water is boiling, put the
noodles into the water and stir
to prevent the noodles from
sticking together.

Boil the noodles for approx 15
- 20 minutes, until they have
al dente consistency. Once
the desired consistency is
reached pour the noodles into
a strainer.
Wash the noodles briefly with
fresh, cold water to wash off
excessive salt. Do not wash
too long as otherwise the
noodles turn too cold. After
washing give the noodles time
to drain all water.

Once the noodles are
sufficiently dry, transfer them
into a fresh pot and add the
prepared mixture of onions,
garlic, chicken-broth cube,
chilly and pepper.

Now add the pre-cut cheese
stripes or cubes. Now mix
everything carefully, as long
as it is hot until the cheese is
molten, and noodles, cheese
and onions are equally
distributed in the bowl.
Serve it immediately on a
fresh plate as long as the
cheese noodles are hot, and
top it with some ground
Parmesan cheese.
