Here, such matters are publicized to the hilt. Bomb experts
are not confined to airports, either. All the state polices,
every large and some small municipalities, and many fire
departments have bomb teams.

Water cannon is the standard remote defusement. You could
look it up.

We did have the Oklahoma City incident, but that owes largely to
the fact that the FBI's focus was away from right-wing extremists,
as many of the FBI people are of that persuasion anyway. It was a
mistake that probably won't be repeated.

Fake Brains, Lattermann Style

2 lg onions (farang-size)
3 garlic cloves
5 tomatoes
5 Tb cooking oil
1 cube Maggi chicken broth
1 oz black/white peppercorns
4 fresh eggs
1 oz Maggi sauce
1 toast bread

Peel the two big onions and cut them into small slices.
Then cut the three garlic cloves into small pieces. Put
the cooking oil into pan and heat it up. Once the oil
is heated up. Put the onion slices and the garlic
pieces into the hot oil.

Fry the onion/garlic mixture until it turns into a yellow
golden color, while continuously stirring, to achieve a
uniformly distributed colorization. You may also start
with frying the onions first and only add the garlic
slices later.

While the onions are turning yellowish golden, boil 5
tomatoes for a few minutes until the skin can be peeled
off, easily. Any juice that may drip from the tomatoes,
collect it as it will finally contribute to the refined
taste of the fake brains. Finally cut the tomatoes in
smaller pieces and add them to the fried onion/garlic
slices. Stir well while smashing the tomatoes to more
or less homogeneous paste. Please add half or one
Maggi broth cube. Once the onion, garlic and tomato
mixture has boiled down to a thick paste, you may add
fresh ground pepper and mix it well with the still
boiling paste, continuously stirring to prevent the
paste from sticking and burning to the pan.

Once all visible water content has evaporated, the
basis for the fake brains is ready for the final
preparation. Break eggs into a small bowl. Beat well.
You may add a little bit of Maggi sauce for a refined
taste, however, please take care that the mixture does
not get too salty.

Once the stirred eggs are perfectly stirred, carefully
add them to the onion, garlic and tomato paste, while
frying and continuously stirring. As more water
evaporates, the paste turns more and more grainy,
while additional water drains out.

Once the mixture turns almost dry, it resembles a mass
similar to brains matter. Now transfer the fake brains
into a bowl and it is now ready for serving. You may
spread the fake brains on toasted or untoasted bread.
Add spices (pepper, etc) as per your personal taste.
