Don't tell them that changeback has been cancelled, but just that it
has been delayed a month.  (That has been done here for the Southern
state of Tasmania, which has more time under Daylight Saving than
other states).  Then a month later, repeat, etc.  One problem could be
Queensland and Northern Territory, which don't have DS.

That could be the solution for Q and NT.  Move all the TV programs
forward an hour.

Jo phoned me to say that in her new state government education dept
job, she has been shocked!  Her boss has told her not to sit at her
computer working for too long, as that is unhealthy; she should get up
and walk around regularly.  As teachers finish at 3.30pm, and she
finishes at 4pm, she is automatically credited with a 1/2 hour
overtime every day.  She is encouraged to take her paid sick leave,
whether she is sick or not, as it is "an entitlement".

As I was the boss, I felt I had to set an example.  I did enjoy my
work, though.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Ambarella Conserve
 Categories: Spreads, Preserves, Asia-se, Charmaine
      Yield: 4 servings
 
    500 g  Ripe ambarellas
    500 g  White sugar
    250 ml Water
      1 sm Cinnamon sticks
      2 tb Rose water; or
      4 dr ;rose essence
 
  Wash the ambarellas well and prick them all over with a fork. Put
  sugar and water into a heavy pan and bring to the boil, stirr ng to
  dissolve the sugar.
  
  Add ambarellas and cinnamon stick and boil over medium heat, stirring
  frequently, until fruit is translucent and syrup thicK. R move from
  heat, stir in rose water or essence. Bottle in hot sterile jars.
