Sorry, no copy cat there. You might be able to figure out a better
version tho. Steve would like them; I'm not so nuts over coconut.

 RH> Same here.  It's one thing I've never learned.

I tried but had too much going on otherwise to really give it the
attention I needed. Story of my life--always something else to take my
time and attention.

 RH> I never knew the two words went together.  I did snag a cake carrier

The rectangular or layer cake version? I had one of the latter but never
really used it so passed it on. I do have (and use) the other one. I
also use the pie carrier; it also holds a bundt pan sized cake.


-> We checked out a "vintage treasures" shop a few months ago that had
-> some. They were charging high prices for setx with missing pieces so
-> didn't buy any. Steve did find a projector; I found a couple of patterns
-> (vintage) and a thimble from Rome for my collection.

 RH> I picked up a crazy thimble myself.  It's modern Chinese cloisonne; I
 RH> snagged it because unlike most thimbles it fits me.

I don't wear them, just collect them. Probably should wear one but never
got used to it.

-> No, because I didn't get into one. By the time everything was all
-> cleaned up, I was wiped out.

It was a couple of busy days, just for the wedding. That was on top of
our usual busy schedules but well worth it. Made some new friends too,
parents of bride and groom.

-> -> especially the lower looper. That one was possesed of something that

It was a Baby Lock, one of the better brands then (and I think still).
That particular model was a bit of a dud tho. When it worked, it worked
well. When it didn't, I got quite frustrated with it.

-> -> so I can do some preserved lemons.

-> Found a recipe for kale chips but have spinach and chard on hand now.
-> The lemons will go into Moroccan/Middle Eastern cooking.

 RH> That's their usual place; Moroccans use a bunch of them.

And we like that kind of cooking. I'll have to post the Spicy Moroccan
Beef recipe I made today; it's another keeper.
