I was much more sucessful tonight. Recipe called for chard, diced onion,
bacon (used peppered bacon), corkscrew shaped pasta and olive oil,
topped with parm. It used all of the chard, stem included. I had some
Peccorino Romano we used instead of the parmesan. This one is a keeper,
might try adding some sun dried tomato (chopped up) to it too. Steve
wants to try it with regular bacon; I think the peppered was good but
will do it with the other, just to compare. This was from a recipe card
I picked up at some grocery store, somewhere in my travels; the dud one
was from a national housekeeping magazine.

I understand, and yes, the longer the mom can hang on to the baby, the

Good; I've not touched my sewing machine since last week. It'll probably
be another week before I get back to it, if not 2 more weeks.

We had frineds in Germany who adopted a cat that strayed to barracks
where they were stationed in Japan. That cat ate quite a number of odd
things; GIs weren't the best for making sure it had a good diet. I
recall that potato chips were one thing the cat was fed, don't recall
others.
