Nope! Just good flavor, and this ice cream has it. My favorite flavor
there is the chocolate--a simple one but again, great tasting.

Could have gotten more chard at the farmer's market today; they opened
for the (weekly) season. I did get some bantam eggs, a bit of lettuce, a
sourdough pumpernickel (made with whole wheat flour) and a couple of
empinadas, a spinach/cheese/nut one and a broccoli/cheese nut one. We
split those but agreed, the broccoli one was better. Next time I'll get
a strawberry/rhubarb one. Also got a (free) farmer's market tote bag.
Steve went back later to help at the VFW booth, came home with a cookie
(for returning a jelly jar) and a 2lb box of strawberries. I'll probably
get the chard next week, as well as some kale to make kale chips.

We had some on Thursday and early Friday morning. It was cool enough
yesterday that we didn't mind running the oven to do the ham. Not the
best one we've ever had but OK. Studded it with cloves, put on pineapple
(fresh cut earlier in the day) rings and a glaze of brown sugar & spicy
brown mustard. The ham we got last summer in PA was melt in your mouth
good; this one we got at Aldi's and it was a nothing special ham.

I can't stay still; it hurts the foot too much so I'm constantly moving,
if even just a little bit.

Good idea; nobody wants to tangle with annoyed wild life.
