I am a Pontillo Fan too! We have one up in our area which is a bit
different than most of the others as it has these chicken wings that are
huge! If one is going to pay 7.50 for Buffalo wings, they better be good
size as well as good taste. I hate wings that seem to be bone and skin.
I haven't tried it, but the Fish Fry there is supposed to be good too.

mmmm Sourdough is one of my favorites and Pumpernickel sounds good too.
This is my downfall as a diabetic. I am not so much for sweets, but love
breads and pastas etc. which only turn to sugar in the system. thus my
interest in whole grain as it digests and changes much more slowly than
the processed bleached stuff we usually get.

 I understand what You mean. My sister had Easter Dinner at her house
 this year and she also had an Aldi ham. Not horrible, but not the best.
 But I do understand it was a decent price.

Chicken Stroganoff



Ingredients

4 boneless chicken breast halves, cut into small bite-size pieces

1/4-1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced

3 cans cream of mushroom soup

1/4-1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1/2" pieces

1 1/2 cups water

1 cup sour cream

Rice

Instructions

    Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp. Drain and set bacon aside,
    returning 3 or more Tbsp. bacon fat back into the skillet. Saute'
    chicken in bacon fat until nearly done and add mushrooms and saute'
    until chicken is no longer pink; add soup and water. Bring to a
    boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add sour cream and bacon
    pieces and heat through, but do not boil. Serve over cooked, hot
    rice.
