As far as I can work out, each side is deciding to ignore the other.

I have tried the mainland Boutari reds, and found them OK; better than
any Santorini reds.  The Santo winery, on Santorini, is excellent.
Interestingly I was told that the old, old, vines there date from
pre-phyloxera years, as the phyloxera cannot survive in the sulphuric,
volcanic soils of that island.

The first time I went to Prague, in 2006, it was quite delightful.
The next time, this year, I was terribly disappointed.  Huge crowds,
and a great increase in rampant, uncontrolled commercialisation,
particularly in the Castle, where every interesting corner has been
turned into a restaurant, and it was necessary to spend hours queueing
for admission to places of interest.

Krakow, OTOH, does have tourists, but so far, not too many.  That city
was relatively untouched by W War2, as the Russians kicked out the
Germans before they could destroy the city like they did to Warsaw.

As you had been advised, Krakow is cheap.  With Leonore having a
perfectly grilled whole trout and salad, and 4 pairs of frog legs for
me, plus half litre glasses of good beer, we paid the equivalent of
Aust$20.  As often happened, we were the only diners in that
restaurant for lunch.  It was there that I first had the Polish
"comfort food" of bigos, and enjoyed it.
 
I have just come home from Alice Springs, with about 2 kg of prime
camel steak, and 2 kg of beef kidney and flank steak and something
else which I will find when I defrost it.  It is great to have in-laws
in the cattle and butcher shop business!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Batchoy
 Categories: Soups, Filipino
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Pork, sliced serving sizes
    1/2 c  Pork liver, sliced
    1/2 ts Ginger, cut into fine strips
    1/4 c  Pork heart, sliced
    1/4 c  Pork kidney, sliced and
           Boiled
    1/4 c  Green onions, finely cut
    1/2 c  Sweet red and green pepper,
           Cut into strips
           Dash of pepper to taste
      4 c  Meat stock
      2 tb Cooking fat
      2 tb Onion, sliced
      2 ts Fish sauce
      1 ts Garlic, minced
      1 ts Salt
      1    Bundle misua (egg noodles),
           Broken into 2-inch lengths
 
  Saute garlic, onion, and ginger. Add pork, liver, heart, and kidney.
  Cover and cook 5 minutes over moderate heat. Add meat stock and bring
  to a boil. Season with fish sauce, salt and pepper. Add sweet red and
  green pepper and cook 2 minutes. Add misua and cook for another 3
  minutes. Serve hot with sprinkled green onions on top. OPTIONAL:
  before sprinkling green onions, add a raw egg on each bowl before
  serving.
