There's a point where not letting go is pathological.

That last sentence is the only one in the article that I can
wholeheartedly agree with.

Who gives these yahoos the right? Perhaps they should restrict
the writing of such articles to persons who have direct experience?

Malaysia's service, though otherwise fine, lacks liquor.
I don't recall the Tiger beer but do remember the rendang
in the lounge. Also the footstools in first class.

And why not NH, which really impressed me, offering hundred-dollar
bottles of sake in its lounges, free for the pouring (though you
have to know the secret room where they are). The JAL wine list
sounds interesting, but I'd just as soon have the sake - and the
Suntory whisky - at NH.

AF - worst service in Europe. Hands down. Just because it has
free bubbly doesn't make it worth taking.

True except for the 10%. More like 20% in first and business.
The superlativeness of the service, I will add, is more so for
white people even now than for Asians, where it sometimes
tends to be perfunctory.

Madness. The person probably sleeps with someone at VS.
Hands down, the best airline drinking is on SQ and BA.
I've never flown VS but have used its lounges, and I've
not been excited. They're better than US, UA or AA, the
lounges I frequent the most, but not that much better
than CX, LH, or DL. And certainly not superior to SQ
or BA, with a worse wine selection. I get Comtes de
Champagne and classified growth Bordeaux at BA; also
Otard VSOP, the Macallan 18, and other interesting things.

      Title: Selsig Morgannwg (Glamorgan Sausages) Welsh
 Categories: Vegetables, Sausages
      Yield: 6 servings

      5 oz Fresh white breadcrumbs             1 x  Pinch of mustard
      1 x  Small onion finely chopped          2 ea Eggs
      3 oz Grated cheese                       1 x  Flour and raspings to coat
      1 x  Salt and pepper

  Mix breadcrumbs and cheese, finely chopped onion and seasoning.
  Beat together 1 egg and 1 egg yolk and use to bind mixture.
  Make into even sized sausage shapes (12) and roll in flour.
  Coat in beaten egg white and raspings.  Fry in hot fat or oil.
  Glamorgan Sausages are particularly appetising served with fresh green
  salad and red peppers.  An ideal dish for a summer's day picnic.
