That seems to be the consensus, but as I just said to Jim -- I'll wait
until someone else has some on their plate for me to try a bite.

As I also said to Jim -- "tastes like swordfish" is not a good
recommendation to me.  I've had swordfish, and while it was not
unpleasant, I just did not care for it as much as a good
cod/perch/bluegill/croppie/catfish/grouper/etc.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Beef Pot Pie
 Categories: Beef, Luncheon, Main dish, Pies & past
      Yield: 6 servings
 
  1 1/2 lb Beef stew meat
      3 tb Vegetable oil
      1    Whole onion -- chopped
      2    Cloves garlic -- minced
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Black pepper
      1 tb Brown sugar
      2 tb Sherry
  1 1/2 c  Beef stock
      2    Celery stalks -- chopped
      2    Whole carrots -- sliced
      1    Whole green peppers --
           -chopped
      2    Whole tomatoes -- peeled and
           -seeded
      1 lb Pearl onions
      1 tb Cornstarch
           -pastry for 9" pie crust
 
  Brown meat in oil, over high heat. Add onion and garlic. Saute until
  limp. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Cook one minute,
  then add sherry and beef stock. Cover and simmer until meat is tender.

  Blanch celery and green peppers, drain. Chop tomatoes.

  When meat is done, drain off liquid and measure. Add enough water to
  make 1-1/4 cups. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/3 cup cold water. Bring meat
  juices to a boil and add cornstarch.

  Add meat, then vegetables. Pour into pie pan. Roll pastry into a round
  to cover pie pan. Place over meat mixture, sealing edges to pan. Cut
  slits in top. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes.
