He didn't mis-speak; they eat a lot of potatoes. Some might be
attributed to spoilage but probably very little. Most supper meals have
mashed potatoes so it's a reasonable presumption that the figure is
accurate.

I'm trying to be good. It's hard to give up things you like but I'm
learning most anything can be eaten--in reasonable portions. That's the
key there, knowing what the right portion is and sticking to it, no
matter how tempting the food is.

Now to see what options there are in Delaware County.

Like I said, I need to look into what's available in the county. It's
very rural so doesn't have as many options as Rochester or any other
city.

I figure as much--just that the typical single guy picture is more like
what I suggested. From what you've said, he seems to know how to eat a
proper meal.
