Ärende: Wicked? Not really.

So I tried the new KFC Sweet & Wicked Meal which is a choice of the
Zinger or the Big Crunch sandwich together with the new Wicked Stix
which is four cubes of seasoned breaded chicken on a skewer, with
sweet potato fries (also new) and spicy mayo, salad and and
beverage.
              
I chose the Zinger although it's really misnamed, being not very
spicy at all, a potato salad and a juice. The single "stix" (would
that not be a "stik") was tasty enough (meat on a tick is always
cool). The spicy mayo dip for the fries was a rude looking orange
and only semi-spicy. A little dusting from my vial of home blended
chile mix perked it up nicely, as well as the so called Zinger. The
fries were OK but I got pissed off when the promo poster showed the
fries as part of the meal at $10.99 but I got upcharged 99 cents for
sweet potato fries in place of regular fries. I also got upcharged
another 20 cents for the juice in lieu of a fountain drink which has
never happened before. So the $10.99 meal became a $12.79 meal with
tax; that sort of took away any good feelings I had for the stix and
fries. I'd buy it again but only if it was $9, or say $6 in southern
Canada, if I can get over the guilt trip of eating two salty, greasy
proteins and two salty, greasy starches in one meal, with no
vegetables.
