Lotteries are hidden taxes on people who are bad at maths. But, I am an
optimist - even if I know (more-or-less) the odds.

My dream kitchen features a huge wood burning range on one wall. But, that's
the dream version. Reality tells me that I would not get along well with hewing
and hauling wood, toting ashes out to be made into laundry soap or keeping the
flue/chimney cleaned out.

They used to pass out samples in front of the CFA at our local maul. I was
unimpressed either time I had them. Got a Coney Dog and a Hires Root Beer
instead at Weiner World.

      Title: Perfect Picnic Rub
 Categories: Rubs, Condiments, Herbs, Chilies
      Yield: 1 Batch
 
      5 tb Ground black pepper
    1/4 c  Turbinado sugar
      3 tb Paprika
      2 tb Salt
      1 tb Dry mustard
      2 ts Onion powder
      1 ts Cayenne

  Mix together. Store in glass jar. Protect from excess
  heat. Use liberally.
