I think there might just be the knock of opportunity for some enterprising
group - who could then hire a geriatric engineer with some experience at taking
care of a creaky island abattoir.

I pointed that out to Single Ruth. tai fun is "supreme wind" in some dialect of
Chinese or other. As you do the bidding of your tai pan (supreme leader) - you
also knuckle under to the demands of the tai fun.
 
We have some sports teams here whose nickname is "Cyclones" The difference from
the sports teams called "Tornadoes" is the direction of the winds of the funnel
cloud pictured on the "wearables". The cyclonic teams use a clockwise rotation
(as in the south part of this globe) and the tornadic teams use the
anti-clockwise spin of the wind.
 
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Crocodile Cafe's Chicken Tortilla Soup
 Categories: Latino, Soups, Poultry, Cheese, Chilies
      Yield: 8 servings
 
      2 qt (2 l) chicken stock
      1 lg Red onion; diced
      3    Corn tortillas; fried,
           - broken in small(ish) pcs
      3    Roma tomatoes; diced
    1/2    Bunch of cilantro
      8 oz Ancho chile paste *
      1 lb (to 1 1/2 lb) chicken; 
           - cooked, shredded (454-680
           - grams)
           Salt
      6 oz (170 g) Ranchero cheese;
           - crumbled
      2    Corn tortillas, fried crisp
 
  * or 6 or 7 ancho chilies pureed

  Bring half chicken broth to boil with onion in soup pot.
  Combine remaining chicken broth with 3 fried tortillas in
  a blender and blend until combined and slightly thickened.
  Pour into heated broth along with tomatoes, cilantro,
  chile paste, and chicken. Season to taste with salt. Bring
  again to boil. Serve garnished with Ranchero cheese and
  tortilla strips.

  NOTE: To puree ancho chilies, soak 6 or 7 chilies in hot
  water until tender, or simmer just until tender. Remove
  stem and seeds and puree in blender with small amount of
  water until paste in formed. Strain through sieve to
  remove skin, if desired.
