Every time I see that phrase I have a mental image of those last few
drops after you've been pissed upon....trickle down... heh, heh.

It has been an age old superstition never to admit to good times. If
crops are booming, then prices will surely drop and hey, what about
last year's bills anyway.

It's also bad luck to brag about success, even if it's completely
warranted from a lifetime of hard work. Jack started with 300 acres
and now owns about half the township but if you ask him how many
lots he owns he'll tell you "a few" and how many head of cattle?
"Oh, quite a few, I guess." Then if you're smart, you shut up and
stop asking personal questions.

           tahini

           amba (pickled mango sauce)

Here's a sandwich that does it for me every time: the Sabich from
Taim. Taim's sabich is my nirvana in a pita. Warm and fluffy, the
pita is stuffed, overstuffed, with thick rounds of fried eggplant
that melt like butter, along with a sliced hard boiled egg, creamy
hummus, tahini, Israeli salad (diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and
parsley in a lemon mint dressing), marinated cabbage, tahini, and
amba (pickled mango sauce). Bites move from creamy to crunchy to
saucy to eggy to eggplanty.
