Someone or another took my name in vain while I was nodding;
I had to look up the concept of "stuff white people like,"
and though I found the parody quite offensive in a lot of
ways, there was some fun there, so I decided to put on my
game face and see what my WQ would be. I read substantial
bits of the Website and found it amusing but caught in the
contradictions between various kinds of behaviors that are
considered White. There's the liberal tree-hugger white and
the old guard WASPy white; but it ignores all sorts of
variants, like Good Ol' Boy. I'm pretty sure nobody is going
to score more than 75% on this, as there are so many 
internally contradictory things.

Anyway, just for fun I wanted to see how white I could be and
came up with this list, which I will bore you with for 6 posts
luckily spread out over a couple days.

      Title: Hommous - Chick Pea Dip
 Categories: Dips
      Yield: 1 servings

      2 c  Cooked or canned chick-peas;        2    Cloves garlic
    2/3 c  Tahini (sesame paste)               1    Parsley sprigs
    3/4 c  Lemon juice (to taste)

  Place all ingredients but parsley in food processor or blender. Blend to a
  smooth paste. Place in a small platter or shallow bowl. If preferred,
  sprinkle olive oil on top and garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon wedges.
