We got up to about 54 and cold, soaking rain. Didn't get much warmer but
the rain ended before we left the church house this afternoon. Walked
over in the rain, sharing a big umbrella with Steve.

Sounds like she'd rather be doing field work and doing her own cooking
instead of having to wine & dine politicals & lobbyists.

-> We do, sometimes taking a suggestion of the N&O's food writers but most
-> of the time just finding a place on our own. We tend to stay in the

And you, like us, come up with some winners, and some losers. We got a
Lowe's fish fry on Friday; the fish were hot out of the fryer. Asked
them to leave off the hush puppies to avoid the carb temptation but the
rest of the meal (3 pieces of flounder, potato wedges and cole slaw)
were all good. Every so often something like that really hits the right
spot.
