You should take a few readings, try cinnamon for a while and get some
readings. Then go off and see if the readings stay good or revert to
what they were running. It'll at least give you an idea if it helps or
not. I've been using the capsules almost from day 1 of diagnosis,
probably helps more than I think it does.

Steve made a rice pudding last night with brown rice, stevia & almond
milk. Also had dried milk, raisins, dried apple, eggs & vanilla. With
our tweaks we cut it from 34 carbs to 25 per half cup serving. A bit of
cinnamon & fresh ground nutmeg improved it but we'd decided before
adding those in that the recipe was a keeper.
