OTOH, Steve got chomped on almost every time he went outside, especially
in the back yard.  Even a quick trip to take out the trash let the
mosquitoes know it was meal time.  Me, they pretty much ignored.

Mostly broom & whisk broom, a bit of fingers and damp paper towel. Also
the vaccuum cleaner.

I do too but my mom never has been known for her sewing abilties.  She'd
rather use a safety pin or 2 than do a proper hem job. That's how I
found out the lining in one of her skirts was in tatters--she had pinned
up the hem of the lining so it didn't show below bottom of the skirt.
Trouble was, she pinned it so that the skirt was hiked up in an odd
position.  I took it back to NC, took out the old lining and put in a
new one, plus new elastic in the waist.  The skirt will outleast her
now.

-> I learned hand sewing when I was about 7, machine in junior high.  Mom

I'd have rather done counted cross stitch.  Mom did teach me the basics
of cooking but it wasn't anything ceative. That had to wait until I got
out of the house.

We were down there (WFM) this past Saturday and I got some Hirtenkase.
The sample was good so I went for more. (G)

Probably paid off a long time ago.

Easier to get the bones stirring to get to the kitchen for that first
