Maybe the sliding scale preloaded pen would keep them happy...?  I
understand that others manage somehow to travel, but have no idea what
sorts of shenanagans they get put through...  Don't blame you for not
wanting to go on insulin, travel or no, though... :)

There's a difference between knowing something and being able to access
the details at a moment's notice, after all...

Many people would treat that as they do life... decide it was too
dangerous and leave it for the experts...  and go on muddling on.  
The point, as I see it, is that the sweetness of life comes with
risks... which many aren't willing to chance...
