So do we, went back to L&L yesterday and had the healthy plate--bbq
chicken for Steve but garlic shrimp for me. It was atop a nice tossed
salad and had a side of brown rice. Steve ate one of the rices, brought
the other one home. We split a custard malasada. I suspect we'll go over
there at least once more before we leave the area. Eddie Flores has a
cook book out now; we got a copy but I've not really looked thru it yet.

Sigh! Maybe something better is awaiting.

Sounds logical, with her qualifications. After all, chef of your own
restaurant beats flipping burgers for a franchise, if you know what I
mean.

Her good raising is showing.

I know but there's a lot to be said about working a job you like vs one
you hold just to pay the bills.

Very true, I'm not sure if I've ever met any. Met a number of Purple
Heart winners at a couple of dinners in Wake Forest.

Six, so far. Two are full blooded Native American, one is half N/A.
Deborah brough tamales she'd made and one night made Navaho fry bread
tacos or supper.

And the pastor's wife has to be called to that job too. Back in 1979
when Steve was ordained, besides a charge to him and a charge to the
congregation, one of the pastors on the ordination council gave a charge
to me.

We are, beats the snow back east. Talked to my dad last night; he said
they had 7-8" on the ground. We're also enjoying the wide open vistas.
